Those of you that are members of our Programming Your Mind for Success group know, that a bonus we include in that program is a course I spent $497.00 back thirty years ago when $497 was a lot of money to a young family living paycheck to paycheck. The course is called The Neuropsychology of Self-Discipline and it taught me that true freedom can only come from self discipline.

If you are a regular listener of our podcast, you know that that for over a year I have been trying to communicate that the most important entrepreneurial trait moving forward from this point in history ins the ability to FOCUS on the activities that will move you and your business forward and avoid on distractions.

Anything done with focus on a consistent basis will give you drastic improvement in the area of focus.

“Consistent effort doesn’t always create consistent results, but it always creates Success”

When we slack off, the challenge is that there isn’t a reward or punishment for doing so. If you need to be forced to do the things you want to do, you’re not clear on what it is you really want. You need a goal, a dream if you will that is big enough that it causes you to jump out of bed in the morning, and be ready to roll.

Whatever your goals and aspirations are, you should honor them. Commitment is a level of responsibility.

It took me awhile to get myself in a consistent rhythm.  I learned to always ask myself, is what I am doing now moving forward towards my goals?  If not, why am I doing it?

At one point early in my career, I taped my goals on the screen of my TV set.  Back in the day my nickname for the TV was “The Electronic Income Reducer”.  I eventually bought into the fact, that our time is the most valuable asset we have. Today I can say that every minute of every day is prioritized and the majority of my time is spent on projects that moves my business forward or personal growth activities.  I take time every week for personal growth and self-education.
If you’re not committed to something you say you want to do and you know is important, you need to ask yourself WHY?

If you had to do it, what would make it more important? What would make you disturbed by inaction?

If you can’t associate and commit to it, you’re better off dropping it and not giving yourself a guilt trip. You have to find a business, a mission, a dream, that is big enough to get you jumping out of bed and getting after it every day.

Some of you know, at the time of this writing it is August of 2022. I have a goal to develop a team of 500 six figure earners and 10 millionaires over the next 5 years. “What the mind can concieve and believe you can achieve”. That is a loft goal for sure, and would double the largest team I have ever built in my career. From 1990 -1995 I built an organization that had 200 five & six figure earners and 3 millionaires. The challenge to double those numbers at this point in my career, twenty years later gets me out of bed and working, daily.

DREAM BIG! We have all heard shoot for the moon if you miss, you are still among the stars. Another one of my favorite quotes on this topic is. ……
